Latour Bio:

Latour hails from a city on the sunny east coast of Australia known as the Gold Coast.

Saving money from a weekend job at 15 years old when still in high school, Codie banked enough to purchase a 2nd hand set of decks online and that’s where the love for the music & dream started. Many years of bedroom DJ’ing and house parties quickly becoming the go to DJ for teenage house parties.

At 17 years old Latour managed to land his first gig at a Sunday Session club night “Dirty Sundays”, playing under the duo name of “Snobs”, becoming the go to resident of the event.
After 1 year passed Latour found his feet at one of the best house music clubs in Australia known as “elsewhere”. Stepping into a resident DJ role in the Sunday team at the tender age of just 18, something not many have managed to do.

Staying on the Sunday Royale night for 2-3 years before moving into a resident DJ role on the main night at elsewhere “Saturday Night” with Giv. Having a great mentorship with Giv who has over 2 decades experience in the industry there was much to learn.

During 2019 into the 8th year of Latour’s elsewhere residency he took over as Music Director and head captain of the Friday Night.

Amongst 10 years of nightlife Latour has defined a sharp and comprehensive skillset behind the decks playing an array of house, tech house, techno & deep house with quirky twists leaving the listener never knowing what may be around the corner. As a DJ his skills are as much visual as they are audible.

This expertise has seen him play shows at very reputable festivals and venues around the country such as, Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Babylon Festival, Festival X, Revolver, Tramp, Circus Paradise, Full Moon Down Under, onesixone, Nautic Giants, Pawn & Co, elsewhere, Nevermind Smallclub, MVMNT, otherwise, La La Land, Old Soul, TBC Club, Sub Rosa, Dirty Sundays, Day Spa, The Yot Club, Rattlesnake, & more.
